FoSaMed – Enhancing Food Safety in the Mediterranean

On November 9th, the National Erasmus+ Office- Morocco organised an “Erasmus National Info Day” in partnership with the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.

The day was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation, in charge of business in Morocco and the Ambassador of Finland, guest of honor this year.

A specific space was dedicated to present the new projects of the 2020 selection and FoSaMed was honoured to be part of this inspiring event.

The National Info Day officially launched the calls for projects relating to the various actions of the Erasmus + program. This day brought together the various stakeholders concerned and involved or to be involved in the dynamics in Morocco.

Although the event was held in hybrid format due to health restrictions linked to the COVID crisis, part of the FoSaMed consortium was able to join the event in person at CNRST-Rabat. In particular, Mme Wafae GUEDDOURI, administrative member of the University Mohammed Premier of Oujda and Abdeslam ASEHRAOU, professor at University Mohammed Premier of Oujda, met Mme Latifa DAADAOUI, the National Erasmus Office coordinator to present FoSaMed.

In the meantime, the rest of the consortium was visiting the labs at the Ecole Nationale d’Agriculture de Meknès in the framework of the first mission to Morocco.
