The national agrifood federation FENAGRI
About our organization
FENAGRI is a professional association created in 1998 to represent the Moroccan food industry.
It is a statutory member of the CGEM and it coordinates with around twenty sectoral associations in addition to direct members.
FENAGRI plays a role of representation and defense of the common interests of the agrifood chains in order to promote the development of the sector.
Six permanent committees, bringing together professionals representing different sectors, work
in FENAGRI, on issues identified as priorities for improving the environment of the
sector.
Why we are partecipating in the project
Healthy and Safe Food is identified as priorities for improving the environment of the
Sector agrifood industry in Morocco.
Our role in the project
The FENAGRI (Agrifood national federation), a non-academic associated partner, is
essential for the success of the project, especially in identifying national sector priorities and linking
academia with organizations and companies in the Agri-Food Industry. Interaction with sector
stakeholders allows for greater clarity to define priority training areas for teachers and students, identify
labour market needs, establish good laboratory practices, and promote innovation in Food Science &
Technology and Nutrition and Health.
